Why be the change?

To be the change we wish to see in the world is a call to action,  not relying on others to bring about the changes needed for the prosperity of our community.  But it is more than that.  These words were first spoken not in a moment of triumph or celebration, but as a precaution to stay true to principles and core beliefs,  not to succumb to short sightedness or short term gain.

Our community and state need citizen/leaders to fight for the long term well being and prosperity of all.  Not those who would opt for superficial, smoke and mirror fixes which benefit no one and leaves our societal infrastructure in  precarious condition, vulnerable to collapse.

That is what bethechange2010 is about.  A dynamic and interactive process to bring lasting prosperity to our society.

Electing Mike Germain to the Minnesota State Senate is an important step toward that goal.
